Why go solar

Power bills going up every year?

Panels on your roof make electricity for decades. Add a battery and you can use that power after sunset, and keep the essentials running when the grid goes down.

Questions

Common questions

Will solar work where we live?

Yes. Panels work in cold and cloudy climates; they're actually more efficient when it's cool. Snow usually slides off tilted panels. We estimate your yearly production from local sun data before you decide.

Do I need a battery?

Not to save money with solar, especially if your utility offers net metering. A battery makes sense if you want backup power in outages or your utility pays little for exported power.

How long does installation take?

Most homes take 1 to 3 days on site. Permits and utility approval usually take 2 to 6 weeks before that, and we handle both.
